You know, the closer we get to the book being released, the more worried I get. When Book Five came out, my inspiration for That Most Lonely Thing rammed straight into the wall of new canon, and, although I've done my best to work out what to draw from it and what will need to be AU for the sake of the story, I've never really gotten back into the writing groove I originally had going with it.

Now, well, none of the spoilers I've come across have anything to do with Percy so I have no idea what HBP will do to help or hinder the slashy vibes I got from the first four books. I'm really hoping the the feeling I got when I first read OotP of his actions being part of a plan (whether it's his own or Dumbledore's I don't know), or being late-striking, extreme, teenage rebellion and him not really taking such a turn against Harry.

On another note, I'm not sure whether I want my copy to arrive as early as possible tomorrow or sometime later. 'Cause I ordered it through Amazon, and if it's not here Saturday I'll get it for free. Being able to spend the gift card I used to pay for it all over again would be really nice.
